How much does Textedly cost per month?

As of October 17, 2026, Textedly pricing starts at $29 a month for 500 messages ($29 ÷ 500 = $0.058 per text) and tops out at $5,520 for 300,000 ($5,520 ÷ 300,000 = $0.0184). Every account pays an $8 monthly telecom surcharge, so the entry plan costs $37 ÷ 500 = $0.074 per text. Rates change, so check Textedly's site.

The page below covers all 14 tiers and the fine print; how texting is billed is on our SMS marketing hub, and what $100 buys is on BestText's pay-as-you-go SMS pricing.

The published rates

Textedly's published pricing, as of October 17, 2026.

Textedly lists 14 plans from $29 to $5,520 a month and says every plan includes every feature; only the message volume changes. Annual billing adds 20% more messages. Three anchors on monthly billing show the shape of the ladder. Rates change, so check Textedly's site before you buy.

Basic: $29 for 500 messages

$29 ÷ 500 = $0.058 per text. With the $8 telecom surcharge, $37 ÷ 500 = $0.074. That is the real entry rate, and Textedly's page never prints it.

Business: $299 for 10,000 messages

$299 ÷ 10,000 = $0.030 per text, or $307 ÷ 10,000 = $0.031 with the surcharge. Halfway up the ladder, the rate is about half the entry plan's.

Legend: $5,520 for 300,000 messages

$5,520 ÷ 300,000 = $0.0184 per text. The surcharge barely registers: $5,528 ÷ 300,000 = $0.0184. Above this, Textedly asks you to contact them for a custom plan.

The fine print

Four things the plan price doesn't tell you.

Two of these appear only in the FAQ structured data on Textedly's pricing page, which search engines read and visitors never see. As of October 17, 2026.

1. The $8 telecom surcharge

Textedly's FAQ data says each account pays "a monthly Telecom surcharge of $8." On the Basic plan, $29 becomes $37 before you send anything, and $0.058 per text becomes $0.074. No other per-message carrier fee is listed.

2. Overage and add-ons

Running out costs $30 for another 500 messages, which is $30 ÷ 500 = $0.06 per text. Extra keywords are listed at "$10 per additional keyword", and each added teammate is $10 a month. Keyword limits rise with the plan but are not listed.

3. MMS and long messages

MMS is included on every plan, but the page does not say how many messages one MMS uses. Message length is stated two ways, 1,600 characters in the visible FAQ and 455 in the FAQ data. Ask how a picture or a long text counts.

4. Rollover, the trial and 10DLC fees

The page does not say whether unused messages roll over. On the trial it says both "50 free text messages" with "no ticking clock" and "a free 14-day trial." On 10DLC it says both that your first number's registration is covered and that the fee runs $4 to $44. Confirm each with Textedly.

The per-text math

Cost per text at all 14 Textedly tiers.

Plan price divided by included messages, monthly billing, as of October 17, 2026. The second column adds the $8 surcharge. Taxes, overage and any 10DLC fees are extra. Textedly publishes no MMS multiplier, so there is no honest MMS column.

Plan Per text (price ÷ messages) With the $8 surcharge
Basic $29 ÷ 500 = $0.0580 $37 ÷ 500 = $0.0740
Bronze $49 ÷ 1,000 = $0.0490 $57 ÷ 1,000 = $0.0570
Plus $79 ÷ 2,000 = $0.0395 $87 ÷ 2,000 = $0.0435
Enterprise $125 ÷ 3,500 = $0.0357 $133 ÷ 3,500 = $0.0380
Elite $169 ÷ 5,000 = $0.0338 $177 ÷ 5,000 = $0.0354
Business $299 ÷ 10,000 = $0.0299 $307 ÷ 10,000 = $0.0307
Silver $420 ÷ 15,000 = $0.0280 $428 ÷ 15,000 = $0.0285
Premium $599 ÷ 25,000 = $0.0240 $607 ÷ 25,000 = $0.0243
Pro $720 ÷ 35,000 = $0.0206 $728 ÷ 35,000 = $0.0208
Gold $1,020 ÷ 50,000 = $0.0204 $1,028 ÷ 50,000 = $0.0206
Platinum $1,920 ÷ 100,000 = $0.0192 $1,928 ÷ 100,000 = $0.0193
Diamond $2,760 ÷ 150,000 = $0.0184 $2,768 ÷ 150,000 = $0.0185
Champion $3,599 ÷ 200,000 = $0.0180 $3,607 ÷ 200,000 = $0.0180
Legend $5,520 ÷ 300,000 = $0.0184 $5,528 ÷ 300,000 = $0.0184

The slider doesn't show two things. The rate drops under BestText's $0.022 only from the Pro plan up, and Champion ($0.0180) costs less per text than Legend ($0.0184). Every figure assumes you use the whole allotment.

The anchor math

What $100 and $1,100 buy, side by side.

BestText's column uses two real credit packages. Textedly sells monthly plans, so its column shows the biggest plan that fits the same budget for one month, surcharge included. As of October 17, 2026.

Budget or fee Textedly (one month) BestText (pay as you go)
About $100 Plus plan: $79 + $8 = $87 for 2,000 texts ($87 ÷ 2,000 = $0.0435 each) $100 package: 4,545 credits = 4,545 one-segment texts at $0.022; about $103 with the 3% card fee
About $1,100 Gold plan: $1,020 + $8 = $1,028 for 50,000 texts ($1,028 ÷ 50,000 = $0.0206 each) $1,100 package: 50,000 credits = 50,000 one-segment texts at $0.022; about $1,133 with the 3% card fee
Monthly plan fee Plan price plus the $8 surcharge None; the plan is free and you buy credits when you need them
Phone numbers A free toll-free number and a free 10DLC number on every account A monthly number fee from the cash balance, quoted on the demo
10DLC registration The page says both "first number covered" and "$4 to $44"; confirm with Textedly Our team registers your brand and campaigns; fee questions are answered on the demo (what 10DLC fees are)

At $1,100, Textedly's Gold plan is cheaper for the month if you send all 50,000 texts. At $100 the gap runs the other way, 4,545 texts against 2,000. Which side you land on depends on how many texts you send in a month.

Who each one fits

Where Textedly is the better fit, and where it isn't.

We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us for the wrong reason.

Textedly fits a steady, fully used allotment

A plan near your steady monthly volume is easy to budget. From the Pro plan up (35,000 messages a month), Textedly's included-message rate drops below BestText's $0.022, so a steady sender who fills the plan pays less per text there. Every account includes a toll-free number and a 10DLC number, incoming messages are free, stored contacts are unlimited, the feature list names 3,000+ integrations, and plans run month to month with no long-term contract.

BestText fits volume that moves

If your sends spike around launches or lead batches and go quiet in between, BestText has no plan fee: you buy a credit package when you need to send, at a flat $0.022 a credit, from $100 to $11,000. Numbers carry a monthly fee from the cash balance, quoted on the demo. The same account and lists also run ringless voicemail, which Textedly's pricing page, homepage and 10DLC page do not mention; SMS vs ringless voicemail compares the two.

Our side of the ledger

How BestText bills for texting.

The price

  • 1 credit per SMS segment; every credit costs $0.022, on every package
  • $100 buys 4,545 credits and $11,000 buys 500,000, at the same rate
  • MMS is 3 credits per image plus the caption as SMS segments (picture with a short caption: 4 credits, about $0.09)
  • A 3% card processing fee is added to package purchases by default

What comes with it

  • A free pay-as-you-go plan; you don't need a card to open the account
  • SMS, MMS and ringless voicemail from one account and the same lists, with a shared two-way inbox, drip sequences and keyword auto-replies
  • No per-seat fee for team members
  • Our team registers your 10DLC brand and campaigns; fee questions are answered on the demo
  • Optional DNC scrubbing against national and state registries and known-litigator data at list upload

Do Textedly credits roll over?

As of October 17, 2026, Textedly's pricing page does not say whether unused messages roll over, on monthly or annual plans. Ask before you buy, including what happens to the extra 20% of messages annual billing adds. BestText has no plan fee: you buy a credit package when you need to send.

How much is MMS on Textedly?

Textedly includes MMS on every plan, up to 1,600 characters, but as of October 17, 2026 its pricing page does not state how many messages one MMS uses, so ask before planning a picture campaign. From Textedly's Pro plan up, 35,000 messages a month, its included rate drops under $0.022 if you use the whole allotment. Our SMS marketing pricing guide has the full cost stack.
